Undoubtedly the most infamous scene in the movie, this sequence involves the protagonist, Miloš, engaging in necrophilia with a woman who has just given birth.

Miloš paused the film. His hand trembled, spilling rakija on his jeans. That wasn’t acting. That was a production note. The character was breaking the fourth wall to address the fictional crew of the fictional film. The real actress, in the real movie, had just acknowledged the in-universe snuff ring.

However, a warning is necessary. The difference between the cut and uncut version is the difference between a story about a nightmare and actually being inside the nightmare. The uncut version contains unsimulated acting (the actors used prosthetic genitals and body doubles, but the editing makes it indiscernible) of acts that are illegal to depict in most countries—specifically the newborn scene and the incest scene.
