As I walked through the village, I couldn't help but notice the sense of unease that hung in the air. There were whispers of dark forces gathering at the edges of our lands, of strange creatures lurking in the shadows. The villagers were on edge, and the usually warm and welcoming atmosphere was tinged with a sense of fear and uncertainty.
A subplot that fans speculated about since Chapter 1 finally pays off. The character of , the heretic girl who was supposedly "woven into the cornfields" fifty years ago, returns—not as a ghost, but as a root-bound revenant. Inside, the pews are filled with the seated, silenced villagers, each rocking back and forth. Their mouths are sewn shut with what appears to be red twine.
