Flik recruits a group of "warrior insects" to fight off the grasshoppers, but things don't go as planned. The insects turn out to be a motley crew of circus performers, including a group of acrobatic fleas, a strongman rhinoceros beetle, and a trapeze artist butterfly. Despite the initial disappointment, Flik and the circus bugs work together to defeat the grasshoppers and save the ant colony.
