The multiplayer economy is another frontier ripe for innovation. In previous years, playing with friends was fun but often lacked structure. FS26 has the potential to implement dedicated server support with robust role-playing tools. Instead of everyone simply harvesting the same field, players could establish distinct roles within a cooperative: one player manages the grain logistics, another runs the animal husbandry division, and a third focuses on contracting for neighbors. A more structured economy, perhaps even allowing players to sell services or custom equipment to one another in-game, would deepen the sense of community that makes the Farming Simulator series so enduring.
