Bootloader unlocked and custom recovery (TWRP) installed. Android 9 (Pie) device and a full backup (Nandroid) saved in recovery. Battery ≥ 50%. Download the correct TTA Pie GApps package for ARM/ARM64 and Android 9 (ensure package matches your CPU and ROM variant). Optional: Magisk if you want systemless root; latest Magisk.zip on hand.
Step-by-step
Backup
In TWRP: Backup Boot, System, Data (Nandroid). Verify backup completed.
Wipe (recommended for clean install)
In TWRP: Wipe → Advanced Wipe → Dalvik/ART Cache, Cache, System, Data (only if switching ROMs or clean install). If just installing GApps over same ROM version, wipe Dalvik/ART Cache + Cache only. tta pie gapp installer for android 9
Install ROM (if flashing)
Install → select ROM.zip → Swipe to confirm. Reboot to recovery if requested.
Install GApps (TTA Pie)
Install → select TTA_Pie_GApps_...zip (correct CPU/PIE build) → Swipe to confirm. If you use systemless modules (Magisk), install Magisk after GApps (see step 6).
