He had just bought a new external SSD to "declutter" his main computer. He carefully dragged his entire Toontrack folder over, feeling like a digital Marie Kondo. "Everything in its place," he whispered, satisfied.

As the hours ticked by, Jack became more and more desperate. He scoured the internet for solutions, but nothing seemed to work. He even tried reinstalling his DAW, but the problem persisted.

By default, Toontrack installs its core libraries to these locations: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Toontrack\EZDrummer Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > EZDrummer Sweetwater Advanced Fixes Topic: MIDI library in Superior 3 missing !? - Toontrack

Technical notes

If only one library triggers the error, reinstall that library. But if all libraries fail:

"Dude, you renamed your folder," Alex said, shaking his head. "Your DAW is looking for EZXs and MIDI libraries in a folder called 'Samples', but you moved them to a folder called 'Audio Assets'."
