This paper explores the proliferation, consumption, and cultural impact of fashion and style content targeted at young girls on digital platforms. Historically confined to print magazines and physical dolls, fashion socialization for girls has migrated to algorithmic-driven platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. This study examines the shift from play-based fashion to performance-based content, analyzing the psychological implications of "tween" influencer culture, the erosion of childhood boundaries in fashion, and the emergence of hyper-consumption trends. The findings suggest that while digital fashion content offers avenues for creativity and identity formation, it simultaneously exposes young demographics to unrealistic beauty standards, sexualization, and consumerist pressure.
